In a large bowl, season chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add half the chicken in a single layer. Sear undisturbed for 4 minutes until golden, then flip and cook 2 more minutes until fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet and repeat the cooking process with the remaining chicken. Transfer cooked chicken to the plate.

Reduce heat to low and melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

Return all cooked chicken and juices to the skillet. Toss to coat thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce.

Remove skillet from heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese until chicken is well coated. Garnish with chopped parsley and optional red pepper flakes.

Serve warm with rice, pasta, salad, or in wraps as preferred.
