# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 680 g total)

→ Seasoning

02 - 7 g light brown sugar (3 tablespoons, packed)
03 - 7 ml olive oil (1/2 tablespoon)
04 - 7 ml chili powder (1/2 tablespoon)
05 - 2.5 ml garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
06 - 2.5 ml onion powder (1/2 teaspoon)
07 - 2.5 ml fine salt (1/2 teaspoon)
08 - 1.25 ml ground black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Lightly coat a large baking dish or baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
02 - Place chicken breasts between two sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Pound each breast to an even thickness of approximately 1.5 cm.
03 - Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
04 - Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer on the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
05 - Remove chicken from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Pounding chicken breasts to an even thickness ensures they bake uniformly and remain juicy.
02 - This preparation is ideal for meal prep; stored leftovers stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
