Spread the lemon pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish using a spatula.

In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Distribute this mixture evenly over the lemon pie filling.

In a separate bowl, thoroughly combine lemon cake mix with melted butter. Sprinkle and gently spread this mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.

Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the top is lightly golden brown and set.
