# What You'll Need:

→ Shrimp and Marinade

01 - 450 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 45 ml olive oil
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 30 ml fresh lemon juice
05 - 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
06 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked or sweet paprika
07 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
08 - 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

→ To Serve

10 - Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
11 - Lemon wedges

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Rinse shrimp thoroughly under cold water, pat them dry with paper towels, and remove the tails if desired.
02 - Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Allow to marinate for 10–15 minutes.
03 - Heat the grill or grill pan to medium-high. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
04 - Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the grill. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque with light grill marks.
05 - Transfer cooked shrimp to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Add an extra squeeze of lemon if desired.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Opt for large or jumbo shrimp (16–20 per 450 g) for ease of handling and best grilling results.
02 - Limit marination to a maximum of 30 minutes to prevent citrus from 'cooking' the shrimp.
03 - Shrimp are perfectly cooked when they form a 'C' shape and turn opaque.
