Grenadine Sunrise Festive Cocktail (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Cocktail Base

01 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
02 - 2 tablespoons hot water
03 - 120 millilitres fresh orange juice
04 - 45 millilitres Grand Marnier
05 - 30 millilitres cognac or brandy
06 - 750 millilitres Prosecco
07 - 240 millilitres grenadine

08 - Orange peel

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Dissolve the sugar in hot water until fully combined. Set aside to cool.
02 - In a large pitcher, combine orange juice, Grand Marnier, cognac or brandy, and the cooled simple syrup. Chill until well chilled.
03 - Just before serving, pour Prosecco into the chilled mixture and stir gently to combine.
04 - Distribute the cocktail evenly into eight champagne flutes or similar glasses.
05 - Tilt each glass slightly and slowly pour a splash of grenadine down the inside so it settles at the bottom, creating the sunrise gradient.
06 - Garnish each glass with a twist of orange peel and serve immediately.
