Ghost Oreo Ball Treats (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Truffle Mixture

01 - 120 grams Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
02 - 113 grams full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature

→ Chocolate Coating

03 - 150 grams white chocolate, chopped for melting

→ Decoration

04 - Assorted edible eyes or sprinkles, optional

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly using a spatula or hand mixer until smooth, approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
03 - Scoop portions of the mixture and roll each between your palms to form uniform balls approximately 2.5 cm in diameter. Shape each ball with a slightly pointed top to resemble ghosts.
04 - Arrange the shaped truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up for coating.
05 - Gently melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, heating in 20-30 second intervals and stirring between bursts until fully smooth. Be careful to avoid burning.
06 - Remove chilled truffles from refrigerator and dip each into the melted white chocolate to coat completely. Use a fork to lift them out, letting excess chocolate drip off, then place back on parchment.
07 - Before the coating sets, apply edible eyes or sprinkles to each ghost truffle for a playful finish.
08 - Allow coated truffles to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until chocolate hardens fully. Alternatively, refrigerate 10-15 minutes for quicker setting before serving.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Ensure cream cheese is softened to room temperature for smooth blending. Chill truffles before coating to retain shape and ease handling. Melt chocolate gently to avoid burning and maintain a smooth texture.
