Frozen Mango Margarita Cocktail (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Frozen Mango Margarita

01 - 150 g frozen mango chunks
02 - 60–90 ml silver tequila, to taste
03 - 30 ml Cointreau or triple sec
04 - 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
05 - 30 ml simple syrup or agave nectar
06 - 1 cup ice cubes
07 - Tajin, for rimming (optional)
08 - Lime wedge, for glass rim and garnish

→ Simple Syrup

09 - 50 ml water
10 - 50 g granulated sugar

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Combine water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar fully dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely before using.
02 - Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass. Dip the moistened rim into Tajin or salt to coat evenly. Set aside.
03 - In a blender, combine frozen mango, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth and slushy.
04 - Pour the blended mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Use store-bought frozen mango for convenience, or freeze ripe fresh mango for optimal flavor.
02 - For a less sweet drink, reduce the simple syrup or use agave nectar.
03 - Double the ingredients to prepare two servings at once.
