# What You'll Need:

→ Ground Beef Mixture

01 - 450 grams ground beef (80/20 preferred)
02 - 1 medium onion, finely diced (about 150 grams)
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 60 milliliters ketchup
06 - 15 milliliters yellow mustard
07 - 15 milliliters Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Assembly

10 - 200 grams shredded sharp cheddar cheese
11 - 650 grams frozen tater tots

→ Garnishes (optional)

12 - Chopped fresh parsley
13 - Diced pickles

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until fully browned and crumbly. Add diced onion and sauté for 5 minutes until softened. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 - Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to blend flavors and thicken the mixture.
03 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Transfer beef mixture evenly into a greased 23x33 cm baking dish. Spread shredded cheddar cheese over the beef, then arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
04 - Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and cheese is bubbling. Optionally, add extra cheese on top during the last 5 minutes for more cheesiness.
05 - Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley or diced pickles as desired. Serve hot.

# Helpful Notes:

02 - This dish can be assembled in advance and refrigerated up to 24 hours before baking.
03 - Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freezer for 2 months.
