Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Combine softened cream cheese with 1 tablespoon softened butter. Stir in shredded chicken, chives, onion, salt, and pepper.

Unroll crescent dough and press two triangles together to form four rectangles. Seal perforations to prevent leakage.

Place chicken mixture in the center of each rectangle. Fold corners over the filling, press to seal, and shape into balls.

Dip each filled dough ball in melted butter and roll in breadcrumbs. Shake off any excess coating.

Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden brown.

In a saucepan, combine cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer until ready to serve.
