Cheesy Taco Sticks Baked (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Filling

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning mix

→ Dough & Cheese

03 - 1 tube pizza dough (approx. 400 g), ready-made
04 - 5 colby jack or cheddar cheese sticks, each halved

→ Garlic Butter

05 - 60 g unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning per packet instructions and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat and set aside.
03 - Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 10 evenly sized rectangles.
04 - Place a spoonful of the seasoned beef filling onto each dough rectangle. Add a half cheese stick on top of the beef. Roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges to enclose the contents. Place seam-side down on the prepared tray.
05 - In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush each taco stick generously with the garlic butter mixture.
06 - Transfer to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
07 - Let the taco sticks cool slightly before serving. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream as desired.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - To add a spicy element, include sliced jalapeños with the filling.
02 - Experiment with alternative cheese varieties like pepper jack or mozzarella for different flavor profiles.
