Line the air fryer basket with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (about 3 minutes).

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger (if using). Spoon the mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.

Place the fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't touch each other for even cooking.

Air fry the salmon for 6 to 11 minutes, depending on thickness and your air fryer model. For fillets about 1 inch thick, cook for 8-9 minutes. Salmon is done when it registers 145°F on an instant-read thermometer.
